- Golf Carts on City Streets: Per Texas state law and municipal ordinance, golf carts may only be operated on public roads with a speed limit of 35 MPH or less. The driver must have a valid driver’s license, and the cart must have a slow-moving vehicle emblem.
- Juvenile Curfew: Minors under the age of 17 are prohibited from remaining in public places or city streets between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM on weekdays, and midnight to 6:00 AM on weekends, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Noise Ordinances: Quiet hours are enforced between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Unreasonable noise that disturbs the peace across property lines may result in a citation.
